Last October we took a cruise to the Arctic Circle in search of the Northern Lights.
Our first stop was Aalesund and surrounding area.
No words needed, it is all about the scenery.
I am joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for Wordless Wednesday.

Such wonderful photos and quite the site to see, you are so lucky to go there!
It looks lovely there brilliant photos I enjoyed them :-)
Have a northernlightstastic week :-)
I would love to take such a cruise. Put into the "one day" list.
Great photos. Not sure those homes on the rocks would be safe to go into, but maybe they are.
Beautiful area. I would love to explore there.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
are the cabins for rent or were they part of some historical story.... I could totally live by that stream !! :) ♥♥
Wow, those photos are a site to see! That cabin is quite interesting also, but I dunno. Somehow I don't think I would want to stay there. hahahaha I'd probably watch my coffee the whole time I'm sitting there to see if it moves/starts to slant. hahaha
Wow, thanks for sharing these gorgeous photos. The scenery is just somewhere we would like to go visit one day. We hope you have a great time. Have a fantastic rest of your week.

Great photos
WOW! Stunning photos! A cruise to the Arctic Circle is certainly on my bucket list!
Happy Thursday!
Are all of these photos taken at the Arctic Circle? Did you find the Northern Lights? That's something I'd love to see first hand! The buildings lining the water is a great picture and the waterfalls is beautiful. Fabulous photo series. Thanks for sharing, dearie!
No, not for rent. They are the original homes that were once lived in. There weren't any here, but on a cruise a few years earlier they had similar huts and you could go inside to look.
We had stopped at 4 places on a 12 day cruise. Aalesund was the first and not within the Arctic Circle. Our next stop at Tromso and 2 day stop in Alta were well within the Arctic Circle, and yes, we did see the Northern Lights. More photos will be coming!
What a beautiful place and I'm glad to read above that you did get to see the Northern Lights too! I look forward to seeing more photos.
Wow, breath taking, bothe sceneray and the housing. You certainly have picked some lovely locations to visit.
