Wordless Wednesday

I don't like heights and elevators scare me, but on our third visit to New York I did it!

The view from the top of the Empire State Building May 2010.

  3. I am not afraid oh these kind of heights, but I really don't like them!
I have the impression that they cover the sun on the surface of the planet.
Happy WW and all the best!

  5. The older I get the more I don't like to be up it tall buildings, and I really don't like a hotel room up high. The views are so nice, though.

  6. I have some fears and I know how hard it can be to conquer something like this. Look at the view you were rewarded with!

  8. back in 75, I was in the crown of the statue of liberty; it used to be one could go as high as the torch. they had a "warning" sign at the base if you had a heart condition, fear of heights etc., to STOP right there. the way UP was a spiral staircase on one side and the way down was a spiral staircase on the opposite side !!☺☺♥♥

  9. Elevators in the big cities go very fast. You can leave your stomach on the first floor and it has to catch up. Great shot and great feat. I don't like heights at all either. Elevators are okay.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥

  10. Spectacular view. Mom has been to the top too, but that was many years ago. She doesn't like heights much any more either. And elevators do make her nervous.

  13. We've never been in NY, Jackie, but one thing is for sure, Granny won't ever get up that high again. She was twice on the Euromast that's about 185m, and it was not successfully...MOL..Your picture is beautiful! Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜ฝ๐Ÿ’ž

A lovely view though, and a special memory.
