Wordless Wednesday -The Starfish

We lost power last night so I am late today!

Somebody must have caught the starfish in a net and left it on the harbour to die. I could see it was still alive so dropped it back in the water. It started swimming immediately so hopefully survived.

I am joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for the blog hop.

  11. I am so glad he/she was OK! I love starfish. THey are starting to disappear on the Canadian West coast, they have been dying off by the billions with a wasting disease. They believe it has to do with the warmer water from climate change. A friend was in Sooke over Christmas and says she only saw one where we used to see thousands.

  15. A strange existance they must have! I wrote a story once about a mermaid that asked a starfish for directions and it pointed 5 ways!

    1. Thank you for the link. I hadn't heard that story before and makes me realise I did make a difference to that one starfish. I didn't consciously do it as a good deed, but because it was the right thing to do.
