Another stop on our British Isles cruise was Anglesey in North Wales. A group of us booked a minibus and went to Snowdonia.

That is pretty amazing! I wonder what it's like inside.
ReplyDeleteWhat a way to get a landholding! It looks fascinating, I'd also like to see inside.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool bit of history!
ReplyDeleteBuilding a house overnight to claim the land is pretty impressive. Your cruise sounds like an amazing adventure. Thanks for sharing!
I like this piece of history! It's amazing what people can do!
ReplyDeleteBut I can not say it's ugly, on the contrary!
Thank you, Jackie for sharing this place. Happy WW and a fine week!❤️😘
It would have taken a very strong man to lift any of those Boulders into place. Amazing to see in person I am sure.
ReplyDeleteFascinating history and house! I, too, would love to take a peek inside. I would guess the one room, dirt floor, and hearth and that's about it!
ReplyDeleteanother fun photo. I love to see the different things of places I have yet to go. Thank you :-)
ReplyDeleteI think ugly house is pretty cool….spruce it up a bit inside, and move in ready…and…it’s still standing centuries later 😺‼️🐾🦋
ReplyDeleteI would love to see this in person. You're so well traveled. Good for you. Beautiful shots.

ReplyDeleteCan you just imagine that happening in today's crazy world??? It sure is an interesting place.
ReplyDeleteFascinating history and I would to see the inside of the house.
ReplyDeleteThat's so neat! We wonder what it looks like inside?
ReplyDeleteHow interesting! That is a unique-looking abode and I too would love to see what it looks like inside. They had a similar law in Italy. ☺

A fascinating way to obtain a place to live! I can think of a lot of worn-down apartment buildings and housing units that could benefit from such a social policy today.
ReplyDeleteNow if only we could do that these days. Hang on, some builders do, and charge a fortune for it! 😉
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures and that cottage looks very sweet. I do hope the tea was nice too.
