Wordless Wednesday - Stuck!

South Queensferry for Edinburgh. When we took our tender ashore we saw that a previous one had got stuck on a mud bank and another one was trying to pull it free. They were there for over an hour so I am very glad we hadn't gone ashore a few minutes earlier.

The Forth Rail Bridge which was opened in 1890. Our ship is just visible behind it. This is my last post for 2 or 3 weeks. Hopefully I will have some new photos when I get back.

I am joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for the blog hop.

  1. The bridge is impressive! I guess those who were stuck had ample time for photos, if they were so inclined!

  4. I wish you a fantastic time spent in fantastic places.
I like the bridge! And I hope everything was solved OK. Even I think it's strange, thinking about the depth of the water...
    Happy WW, dear Jackie! ❤️😘

  5. First of all have a great time. And second of all thanks for these pictures. That would have been extremely boring to be stuck on that boat while it was stuck in the mud. I don't think the ship you are on would have ever gone under that bridge.

  7. Just enjoy every minute. I know how much you love cruising. I'm also glad you weren't stuck on this tender. Someone didn't know how to navigate.
