Wordless Wednesday

Northern Lights in Alta Norway in the Arctic Circle, 26th September 2019.
These are not my photos as my camera was unable to capture the beauty of the Lights, but this is what we saw on that magical night.
The first was emailed to me by a friend we made on board who used to be a professional photographer.

The following three were taken by the ship's professional photographers.

I am joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for the wordless Wednesday blog hop.

  1. Mom was a flight attendant for many years and they would often see the northern lights on flights to Europe. She would go into the cockpit to see them and said they were pretty neat.

  2. TOTALLY beautiful. There was a fellow photographer on Flickr, just as I am, and he has passed within the past year succumbing of heart disease. He lived in Alaska and he would post Northern Light photos that were so spectacular, he had an actual gallery up there.

Gorgeous pics. Thank you for sharing them with us. X

  6. Beautiful and glad you got to see them even if your own pictures didn't turn out. That is one trip I want to do and hope that I would see the northern lights. Saw them once as a teenager in Wisconsin!
