It is years since we have had towel animals, it is not a thing that Princess stewards do often. I think our steward must have liked us because as well as the swans he made us a dog. One night we came back to this bird sitting on my bedside lamp!
Tenerife, Canary Islands. The weather was much sunnier than it looks in this photo. It was good to get there after three days at sea with storms all the way. Luckily rough seas (30 feet+ swell) doesn't affect us. In fact it is the only time I sleep well!
I love towel animals. They are so fun and you neve know what you'll find when you return to your room.
ReplyDeleteWe love the rough seas too. Best sleep ever. I agree.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Those towel animals are always fun to see and very creative!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad they did one for you. It's always a happy surprise to come back to a room and see one.
ReplyDeleteThat towel bird is cute!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, I would be sick in only slightly rough seas, never mind your 30+ foot swells! 😯
Very inventive! I saw only swans... But this is quite cute!
ReplyDeleteIt make me smile! Lovely images!
Happy WW and a good start in December! Hugs, Jackie!❤️😘
Towel animals are always fun! Tenerife look very inviting in that photo.

ReplyDeleteI'd love to visit Tenerife someday.
Hugs and blessings, Jackie
This brought back memories of the one cruise I took (and it was on Princess). I remember the towel swan and that's it. Also, it seemed like every time I went back to my cabin to use the bathroom, someone had been in there and the toilet paper was folded into a point. I'm the opposite of you, though - I was terribly seasick for two days of the voyage and I have not been on a cruise since.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos ~ the towel animals are such a joy in the room ~ I did one cruise and loved the towel animals ~
