We had been to Lanzarote before so decided to take a taxi of the Southern half of the island.
We told the cab driver we had been to the volcano on a previous trip where you transfer to a coach so didn't want to go there this time.
I don't think we made a good choice though because apart from visiting an old picturesque village, looking at all the lava rock became a bit tedious. At least we know not to do that if we go there again.
I am joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for the blog hop.

Love the blue water! The lavascape does look a bit like the moon.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place. I'd be out on the water. A small boat that hubby and I could enjoy together.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Jackie. Hugs. ♥
It's definitely stark! Nice to see, though I would struggle mightily to live somewhere without green trees and green grass. It does make the colour of the water really pop, though!
ReplyDeleteIf you see a few lava rocks, you have seen them all. Too bad that didn't work out so well, but as you said, you know for next time.
ReplyDeleteNever been near a volcano. It's spectacular and strange.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing, Jackie!
Happy WW and a fine week!❤️😘
Love the azure water!

ReplyDeleteI can see how such a landscape could get old quickly. The photos you've shown, however, are intriguing.
