Wordless Wednesday Bruges, (Brugge) Belgium.
We have stopped off at Bruges several times, usually towards the end of the cruise. We always used to get a taxi into the lovely old town, but the last few times we have taken the coastal tram. I think the last time we went it was about €5 for a ticket and you could get on and off as many times as you wanted to during the day. We found our favourite places where we would go for a walk and then waffles and coffee. De Haan was always a favourite place for the last stop before our return to the ship.
Okay I know, I wasn't wordless!

Baltics Cruise July 2014 - Bruges
And so to our last port of call, Bruges in Belgium.
This sculpture is in the T'Zand Square and shows four separate sculptures. The main one is the cyclists.
The more unusual one is the mermaid!
The medieval bell tower in Bruges.
Statue on bridge over a canal.
Buildings along one of the many canals.
Another bridge and canal!
We took a boat trip along the canals and these are various views taken from the boat.
I took this photo because I thought it looked very picturesque with the cobbled street and the flowers around the window. The bicycle leaned against the wall gives it the finishing touch.
Well that's it, I have at last finished the posts for this cruise!
I will try to do the next one quicker.
