Wordless Wednesday - Horse Shoes.

 The two large shoes are from Percherons and were given to me by Virginia at The Poupounette. The smaller one was from my thoroughbred who is no longer with us, but buried in his field. He lived to 34 which is a very good age for a TB. The shoe looks so tiny in comparison.

The Chapter House, Wells Cathedral. Notice how the steps have worn away through the years. The lower set of steps were built from 1286, and the higher steps 200 years later.

Seagull scarer!

This photo is so blurry that I am embarrassed to publish it, but it is to give an idea of how they keep the gulls off the ships. He just scares them but doesn't actually catch them.
