Wordless Wednesday - Malaga

Firstly let me say that although this is a photo of a bullring I in no way support it, but it is a way of life there. I believe bull fights only take place in August which is what our cab driver told us. Catalonia has banned bull fighting, Maybe Andalusia and other regions will follow suit before too long.

Not Wordless Wednesday- Finger takes a holiday!

 When we were on the cruise recently I forgot my camera and had to use my phone. While it does take some reasonable photos, at other times it will insist on sharpening them and ruining them.

Apart from that, when the sun is shining it is near impossible to see the screen so is pot luck what you get. While in Cadiz we took the Hop On Hop Off bus and Finger made rather a lot of appearances, some of which I was able to crop out, but not all of them.

So, here is Finger's day in Cadiz.

There were large crowds here for a Good Friday procession. Even Nail wanted to get a look!

And when Finger took a rest the lamp post took over!

And even the trees got in on the act!

I did get this one without any photobombs though.

Someone we met in the park!

"Lining both sides of Plaza Héroes de Cavite is a promenade with wooden benches. One of them is occupied by this forlorn fellow with a duffle bag at his feet. Go ahead … sit next to him, drape your arm over his shoulder and console the young man. He represents an Army soldier from the Infantry Regiment ‘España 18’ who fought during the Spanish-American War. The sculpture was created by Fernando Sáenz de Elorrieta. Nearby is another full-size bronze titled Replacement Navy Sailor."

Wordless Wednesday

 I haven't posted or commented for the past 2 weeks and this is the reason why.

We were on a cruise to France, Spain, Portugal and Gibraltar.

These were taken in Cartagena, Spain and was the first time we had been there. It was nice to see the marina right next to where the ship docked. Hopefully there will be more photos but I forgot to pack my camera and had to use my phone instead. The dreaded finger made to many appearances in the photos!

This photo is so blurry that I am embarrassed to publish it, but it is to give an idea of how they keep the gulls off the ships. He just scares them but doesn't actually catch them.
