Once again, not many words, it is all about the scenery. All of the photos are clearer if clicked on.
This is an old coffee shop/pub. It is completely built from these big old timbers. |
Sami dog sledding camp. |
Although the reindeer look wild, they are all owned by the local Sami people. |
The snow had stopped and we were getting ready to sail for our next port of Alta.
I am joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for the Wordless Wednesday hop.
The pictures are Stunning! Jackie and indeed so much clearer when you biggify them. What a wonderful environment...and I saw Rudolph and...I did, didn't I😺Pawkisses for a Happy Wednesday🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteLoved the photos and tour amazing the last two :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a tourtastic week :-)
Pictures of beautiful scenery, and I loved the pub built from old timbers.(I'm one of those who live in a climate where snow is common, by the way, but we don't have the same mountains!)
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that, you got to see reindeer! The Arctic Circle's rugged, cold landscape is interestingly beautiful. The jagged snowy mountains and sea shots are fascinating. The harsh weather is something I could not endure so it's very nice to visit such places through other folks' experiences. Fabulous photos! Thanks for sharing with me today. Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteOh my what a beautiful place. Love that first shot with the boats. You know how I love boats.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
That must have been an amazing cruise! Thanks for sharing your photos.
ReplyDeleteANY snow is too much snow !!!! I don't know why I thought reindeer were the size of moose ??? and the pub is amazing, imagine trying to BUILD it with the logs being that size !!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt's not just the scenery, but so any other interesting things to see! Fun!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love, Deborah
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I love reindeer. I wanted to own some, but my state doesn't allow any deer to be brought in from other states and there are none already in it. XO
ReplyDeleteThose are such great pictures. Sure looks like a great place to visit. Glad you had such a good time.
ReplyDeleteHow I envy you! That must have been a wonderful cruise! Love the photos.
ReplyDeleteNice photos! I would have liked to get to know those doggies more!
ReplyDeleteWow, those mountains just get more and more dramatic. I am envious of the tour and feel I do need to get Mrs H off on trip soon, if only to see if she can get an early order in with Santa ;)
