Wordless Wednesday. Aarhus, Denmark.


 

The Lighthouse and Iceberg Houses in Aarhus docklands.I don't think there is an actual lighthouse there, but it has been called that because it overlooks the harbour. The Lighthouse skyscraper was completed in April 2023 and is the tallest building in Denmark. Construction still continues in the area. It is 42 storeys high which is 40 too many for me!

    You're such a world traveler. So beautiful. We stayed in a hotel while our air conditioner was being replaced and we were on the 6th floor. I'm not for heights either.

    Very interesting construction. Mom would prefer to be on one of the lower floors or maybe even in a much smaller building altogether:)

    I definitely agree with you regarding that skyscraper being 40 stories too high! Those iceberg houses are fascinating to look at. I wonder what the interior looks like!

    Gorgeous! I just got back fro Denmark a week ago! Never made it to Aarhus but loved Copenhagen and Aalborg!
