Wordless Wednesday - The Great Belt Bridge, Denmark.

Lots of photos of the same bridge so I hope you don't find it boring. It's name is Storebaeltstbroen, but more commonly known as The Great Belt Bridge.

It connects two areas of Denmark, Zealand and Funen. The link will tell you more.

There was very little clearance going under it, and I would not have wanted to be on the top deck when we passed under it. These photos were taken from our balcony on deck 14, and there were three more decks higher!

I am joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for the blog hop.

  2. That is some amazing bridge! I'm not sure I'd like to drive across that one.

  3. Wow! It's an amazing structure. Eleven miles is long, although the Causeway over Lake Pontchartrain, which we used to cross a lot when we were young, is 24 miles long. But it's only on a lake, not over a Strait connecting islands.

  4. Certainly nothing boring about an amazing Bridge built like that across such an expansive water. What a beautiful blue sky and Blue Water you had that day. I'm terrified of heights so I would probably never be in an automobile Crossing that bridge. It would be safer to be in the boat, lol.

  5. That bridge is impressive! I feel like the very top of the cruise ships would be scraping the underside! But as Terry commented, I don't think I'd want to drive across that span.

  9. Beautiful pictures and what a long bridge. It's almost unbelievable that it can go over such a deep river, kind of scary to drive over it🐱Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day, Jackie🐾😽💞
