Wordless Wednesday.

 Hubbard Glacier in Alaska.

If you look to the right hand side, you can see it calving. I remember the noise being just like thunder.

  1. I'm pretty sure I have been there, many years ago on my one and only cruise. I have old film pics! The calving was amazing to see!

  3. It's an impressive place to see. But I am sure I would not like to live there.

  4. I do see the splash down in that photo. Since I've seen some of these happen on nature television programs, I do realize how loud they can be. Amazing when you get to see it in person I am sure.

  8. it’s just me I know, but the first photo looks like there’s an abandoned small sail craft there in the middle of the glacier ( the blackened area ) ‼️‼️😸🐾
