Wordless Wednesday

Following on from last week, we visited  a home near the church at Poorvoo.

The lady who lived here kept one room as it used to be for visitors to see how they used to live. The bunk beds were built into the wall to save space.

She then invited us to walk around the grounds.

This car is her husband's pride and joy. She told us that back in the 50s - 60s he was a successful racing driver and won many trophies.

We were very surprised to see this gun in the field! She said it is another restoration project!

I am joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for the blog hop.

From time to time we have here some contests with old vehicles. My whole admiration for this kind of people who love to restore and use them.

  6. Quite the interesting place and that gun would have startled us. It seems very out of place.
